Labeling your items

It is not uncommon for multiple vendors to be supplying one event. With this in mind, you want to ensure that you find a way to label and mark your items. This will ensure upon completion of the event that you can locate your items and get an accurate item count for the items that you brought to the event.

There are multiple ways to label your items. Some vendors:

  • mark or label the chairs underneath the seat
  • put a colored band on the leg of the chair
  • put a sticker with the company name on electrical devices
  • mark the items with the company name or a certain mark with a permanent marker.
  • engrave a mark or a name on the items.
  • Whichever way you choose to label or mark your items will help you down the road from having a dispute over ownership of items.
